Vegetarian options at our restaurants

All our restaurants offer vegetarian (and some vegan) options. Just let us know when you book your table so the kitchen is ready for you. Below you'll find an overview of our restaurants in Copenhagen that are especially good for vegetarians.

Delphine

Delphine

Delphine brings the food and atmosphere of the Greek archipelago and southern Italy to the heart of Vesterbro.

The extensive menu offers a varied selection of seafood, meats and green dishes. Whole fish and shellfish, skewers with meats and vegetables are prepared on the large Parilla grill. You will also find traditional servings from the Mediterranean as well as crudos and greens galore. From the large bar we serve cocktails and pitchers, ouzo, wines and cool beers. Yamas!

Vækst

Vækst

In Sankt Peders Stræde in the middle of Copenhagen’s old Latin quarter you will find Vækst. Gastronomically, Vækst is based on fresh Nordic vegetables and herbs but we still enjoy a great steak, seafood, and fresh fish. The menu is not the only thing that’s green, as the decor is centred around a beautiful greenhouse, stretching up through the restaurant’s two floors. The rooms are filled with hanging plants drawing nature in all the way to the table, while the many lovely lights create an atmosphere imitating a Danish summer evening which never ends.

Sankt Peders Stræde 34, 1453 Copenhagen K

Høst

Høst

Høst is the Danish word for harvest. As the name reveals, great Nordic ingredients and seasonal greens set the agenda at Høst, combining rustic and elegance, and always with big flavors. Høst is located in a classic Copenhagen building on the corner of Nørre Farimagsgade and Ahlefeldtsgade, where exposed brick walls and Danish midcentury furniture design reflect the kitchens’ ability to mix the minimalist and the idyllic.

Høst has won several International design awards, among them Worlds’ Best Designed Restaurant at Restaurant & Bar Design Awards and World’s Most Beautiful Restaurant in American travel magazine Travel + Leisure.

Restaurant Cofoco

Restaurant Cofoco

Our bright basement restaurant in the heart of Vesterbro is where it all began in 2004, and Restaurant Cofoco is still one of a kind in our palette of dining options. Both the food and the decor is full of contrasts; the rustic and the elegant, the simple and the complex. We start with great Danish ingredients and prepare them in the way they shine brightest; in Danish, sometimes Mediterranean, and at other times with inspiration from far corners of the globe. All dishes are served as small plates, allowing you to taste more and possibly share.

Donna

Donna

Donna serves the best of Italy in the heart of Copenhagen. Mix and match from the extensive à la carte menu or choose our Menu Di Donna and let the chef decide. Donna offers several unique dining areas on the scenic ground floor of Hotel Bella Grande, including a seductive front restaurant in shades of red and pink, a laid-back cocktail lounge, and a bright and classic antique atrium courtyard with a view of the sky. Benvenuta a Donna!

Jah Izakaya

Jah Izakaya

JAH Izakaya harmoniously combinates local high-quality produce, with authentic Japanese izakaya recipes. In addition to serving a permanent list of classic dishes like fried chicken (karaage), sashimi, agedashi tofu, and gyoza, our chefs craft a constantly rotating “seasonal menu” that draws on the best seasonal ingredients and the most pristine seafood on the market.

The eating experience is simple and unintimidating. Order some dishes to share, have as many drinks as you like, enjoy the Jah music which represents our love for reggae, and don’t worry about behaving yourself too much. An izakaya can be many things, but never boring.

Les Trois Cochons

Les Trois Cochons

From locals drinking a glass of wine at the cosy tables on the walkway of Værnedamsvej to the beautiful checkered floor and the quintessential French menu inside, Les Trois Cochons is like visiting Paris for just a little while. On the plate, you’ll find great French produce and specialities combined with the kitchens flair for classic cooking.

Llama

Llama

Llama is among the first restaurants in the region to draw on the flavors of the Latin American continent. Inspired by Peru, Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Chile, and, moving a bit to the north, Mexico, the menu features ceviches, anticuchos, Uruguayan-style meats, tacos, and a list of South American spirits. But Llama is without question rooted in Copenhagen and aims to thoughtfully and sensibly marry the South American inspiration with local products and recipes. Llama is right next to Magasin and Kgs. Nytorv.

Don't miss Llama After Hours every Friday and Saturday from 9.00 PM with DJ and dancing at Copenhagen's best cocktail bar.

Scarpetta Rantzausgade

Scarpetta Rantzausgade

Scarpetta is both a modern and authentic restaurant. That means we base our dishes on the classic Italian tastes and we are always looking for Italian ingredients that represent the sides of Italy that most Copenhageneners may not know. Scarpetta is characterized by traditional cooking meeting modern Italian cuisine.

Spuntino

Spuntino

Spuntino is like gathering the family or a group of great friends at a table in an Italian backyard on a warm summer evening. Underneath the greenery and beautiful lights, we serve plenty of organic and local produce, prepared the classic Italian way and served family-style on platters. Feast on local vegetables, air-dried ham from a small town outside Parma, our own freshly made linguine, and organic beef. Simple, cosy, and informal.

Superbon

Superbon

Superbon is located in Meatpacking District in Vesterbro. The restaurant boasts a spacious, vibrant atmosphere and draws inspiration from traditional Asian cuisine. The menu offers everything from steaming bao buns and grilled lobster to crispy soft-shell crab. Plus, there’s a large bar serving up a wide selection of creative cocktails.

Vespa

Vespa

When the Italians sit down at an osteria they expect a quick, honest, and simple meal made from local produce served alongside a carafe of good wine. It’s the same at Vespa, our cosy and warm osteria in the middle of old Copenhagen. The menu is small, food is served on sharing platters, and you can order wine or beer ad libitum without worrying about the check. Come as you are; this place is all about great company and casual dining. We don’t care that the colourful china matches; our hearts beat for the food on the plates and our guests.
